Yardley Foundation Support & Membership
Supporting and Accessing the work of the Yardley Foundation
The ‘Yardley Foundation’ carries out its work and objectives in its capacity as a not-for-profit unincorporated private members association foundation. As such, this means that the Foundation has to raise funds to pay for itself in order to provide its services for the beneficiaries by hosting events, activities, functions, workshops, retreats, and any other such as required. As with all organisations, both for-profit and not-for-profit, there remain all the usual ‘expenses’ incurred for administration, to run websites (domains, SSL Certificates, hosting, administrators etc.), the email providers, the platforms and applications needed to create and distribute our work as well as to promote it…. plus the nominal travelling and other expenses involved. The Foundation endeavours to invite qualified and experienced individuals to contribute their services and talents to the specific work-streams they relate to in direct people-facing events and activities as well as those facilitated online. The locations for face-to-face Foundation activities form the basis of our work, and will mainly occur in the South West of England.
Funding the work of the Yardley Foundation
Voluntary CASH-ONLY contributions are accepted at all people-facing events, normally an anonymous gold coin or other free will CASH-ONLY donation. These contributions cover hire charges, professional fees, administration, promotional and other costs for the event with any excess funds used to cover the general overall day-to-day expenses of the Foundation.
Voluntary DIGITAL-PAYMENT contributions are only available via a £4.00 monthly ‘subscription’ to our online work which grants access to all the usual work as well as the unpublished and restricted online material and participation and involvement in groups, meetings and webinars. These funds go directly towards the general expenses and administration of the Foundation and its work.
While we gave great consideration to platforms such as ‘Patreon’ and ‘Buy Me A Coffee’ as go-betweens to manage subscriptions we ended up choosing against these options and for a more direct and personalised engagement and relationship instead. Thus, to keep it simple, people-facing events are by CASH-ONLY and online involvement is by DIGITAL-PAYMENT voluntary contributions.
People-Facing events, activities, functions and activities include, but are not limited to: discussion groups, seminars, workshops, social events, exercise and fitness sessions, classes and any other such. Gala Ballet Foundation would include classes, events, activities, performances and other such.
Online events and activities include but are not limited to discussion groups, webinars, meetings and other such.
Membership of the ‘Yardley Foundation’
For individuals to engage with, participate, facilitate or be a part of any event, function, activity or other such that is hosted and facilitated by The ‘Yardley Foundation’ one must first become a Member of the Foundation for a nominal £1.00 one-off Membership Fee, and upon agreeing to and signing off on the Terms of Reference, User Participation and Disclaimer Agreement among sighting and agreeing to the Conditions of Membership, Codes of Conduct and Duty, and other typical membership processes. This sounds a bit much but is actually set in motion to ensure that members can wholly enjoy the work of the Foundation within a private and lawful environment where those who don’t agree to the terms, don’t join. Membership is also to ensure a ‘safe space’ to openly express, share information, discuss and expand knowledge that ordinarily is deemed to be awkward, uncomfortable or confusing.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the ‘Yardley Foundation’ then please express this in writing via email to YardleyFoundation@protonmail.com telling us which of the Foundation platforms you are following and if you are an online subscriber, and why you would like to join. We will follow up with details explaining what Membership to the Foundation really means and what it entails. You can reflect and consider whether you still want to join thereafter.
All work streams are under the auspices of the ‘Yardley Foundation’ and are managed, overseen and facilitated through ‘Catalyst Ascending’ – each being complimentary to the other while all converging towards the same outcomes.
All the work of the ‘Yardley Foundation’ is underpinned by ‘Divine’ Law – The Highest Jurisdiction available to mankind.
